Additives
Additives are a concentrate that can be used to enhance Salt Brine or Salt Stockpiles. By adding this concentrate it lowers the freezing points, enhances the adhesion and reduces corrosion. More importantly, this will give Snow Contractors the ability to lower their overall application rates.

Turbo Melt is a top performing chloride enhancer that is designed to increase the melting ability of salt and brine and lower your overall application rates. With the added benefits of being 90% naturally less corrosive and 100% biodegradable, making it both environmentally and pet friendlier. This additive will eliminate black ice and hard pack, while also preventing the bond to pavement for future events.

Headwaters Hot, by Pelican Chemicals, improves melting ability while reducing the corrosiveness of the salt brine deicer. This is all done by combining a high concentration of calcium chloride with a biodegradable inhibitor.

Blends
We are able to supply different blends such as a 95/5 Blend, 90/10 Blend or a customer blend for your specific needs. The blend is our Salt Brine mixed with your choice of additive; Turbo Melt, Headwaters Hot or FreezGard CI+ Concentrate+. These blends give you the added benefits to better treat pavement in colder temperatures. This also has advantages in areas that tend to stay shaded. As well, the added benefits of a better working product during times when you really need it to count.
